Enroute is a one-day training experience for youth workers working in any capacity with young people - paid and volunteer.
Enroute is centered on the life of Jesus, as seen within the greater context of the entire Story of God. It is designed to help you explore a transformational model for youth ministry in order to help you discover and discern the most effective way in your context to bring youth into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Enroute is intended to give you a descriptive model in which to evaluate, plan and build a biblically-based, Christ centered youth ministry in your church and community.
Enroute is designed to provide you with...
- An overview of transformational youth ministry
- A dynamic, transformational and practical model for building a youth ministry
- An overview of the Story of God, and the importance of it as the starting point for shaping the lives of today's youth
- A look into the mission and message of Jesus Christ, and the implication his mission has on who we are and how we live
- A functional yet inspiring way to live and love in the way of Jesus
- A practical way to envision and create environments for the spiritual transformation of your students
- A description of what "story formed" students might look like in your local ministry context
- A 'take home' plan for implementing the ideas and concepts that were talked about in the Enroute training experience

Schedule
In the morning, we study the Great Commandment and consider what a life design “for along the way” might look like. After lunch, we look at the Great Commission, seeking to discover a design for ministry. Enroute usually begins at 8:30am and runs to 4:30pm, with a break for lunch.
